Inner’s ‘State of Integrity’ (SOI)
On the way to zero faults
What is state of integrity?
To make sure our partners receive complete diagnostics, we are happy to introduce what we like to refer to as ‘State of Integrity’ (SoI); When combined with tests such as the common ‘State of Health’ and ‘State of Charge’ testing, at last - battery pack diagnostics comes closer to perfect.
State of Integrity (SoI) refers to a wide range of physical faults which are known in scientific literature, that can be found inside and between cells and modules of the battery pack. Examples of these faults are: torn wires, swelling cells, cracks and leakages and many more. Some of these faults are the result of faulty production; some appear along the use of the pack.
To know the SoI of a battery pack, we designed a solution that provides a rapid, machine-learning powered precise diagnosis of the physical faults while also pinpointing their exact location down to 50 micron.
whether it is a new or a used pack
we can help you detect issues such as:
Torn wires
Swelling of cells
Cracks
Leakage
And many more!

How do we determine the soi of a battery pack?
Critical physical issues are directly linked to risks to performance, safety, and reliability. This deficiency leads to early deterioration, increased risk of battery fires, and premature recycling/wasting valuable resources.
INNER bridges this gap, providing a complete picture and setting a new and improved standard for diagnostics and battery management. In a sealed pack, looking underneath the casing, in an non-destructive manner, all the way down into the components of the cells, and at the connections and components between and around the cells.
Our solution provides a rapid, machine-learning powered precise diagnosis of a wide range of physical faults, pinpointing their exact location. We are combining this with advanced and patented X-ray/CT technology - the best way to really look inside the sealed battery. This empowers the user to make informed decisions concerning safety, quality, repairability, maintenance, reuse, and/or recycling with confidence. After that, you know what to do!
Knowing a battery’s SoI is critical for safety, long-term value and overall trust in electric mobility.
